We believe education is key to true choice and control and achieving best outcomes, and that participants and families have the right to know what ALL of the options and possibilities are so that they can make informed decisions.
We service all regions of Victoria, including Geelong, Melbourne, Warrnambool and Ballarat.
We also operate remotely in all states and territories of Australia.
Pathway To SDA was established to provide an independent pathway of support for participants and their families to enable them to achieve the BEST purpose built house (SDA), find the BEST housemates and get the BEST supports (SIL) in their new home.
What is Specialist Disability Accommodation or SDA?
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is a purpose built house, apartment or unit designed to support the needs of a participant with an extreme functional impairment and / or very high support needs.
(SDA is the bricks and mortar).
What is Supported Independent Living or SIL?
Supported Independent Living (SIL) refers to the provider of supports who support participants in their home.
(SIL are the support workers).
